Armenia, det drypper på tak

Video projection on a casserole filled with water placed on top of a gas burner.
This project was made in Armenia, in the little mountain village of Jermuk -famous for its healing water. Water dripped through the roof and the floors in a ruin of a huge Soviet cultural house. Nature takes control over the culture.
The projection shows a pond of water next to an empty swimming pool, where the water coming from the roof, subtly drips into this pond. When the casserole is placed into the projection, it looks like the water inside the casserole is boiling. The projects deal with the notion of decay, illusions and the connection between the natural elements.
